The first part will include a theoretical construct of a new v ision for a model that will be presented as Neurodynamic Therapy. This new model\, developed by Dr. Joel Lubar and Dr. Sal Barba\, will be presented in this webinar.\n\nThe second part of the webinar will illustrate our cl inical cases to show how we integrate psychotherapeutic modalities with th e results from multi-channel training on a session-to-session basis.\n\nIS NR members and students receive a discount on registration.  Students sho uld email office@ISNR.org.\n\nTo register\, CLICK HERE.\n\nSummary of the Presentation:\n\n A definition of Neurodynamic Therapy\n Discussion of n ew measures relevant for understanding the relationship between the QEEG a nd the client’s symptomatology\, including effective connectivity\, phas e shift phase lock\, and phase slope index. These are new measures of netw ork dynamics that illustrate the changes from protocol impact further corr elated with the psychodynamic shifts in the client’s clinical symptomato logy.\n There will be session graphs to show how to move into a therapeut ic process. Evaluation of the graphs will help to determine how to work ps ychotherapeutically with the psychodynamics of the client’s cognitive an d somatic experiences. How to support the client to develop insight on how to develop strategies for the transference of training from their interac tion with the training system into their daily life. Furthermore\, the liv e training experience may require a pause to support the clinician and the client to work with the client’s experiences in relationship to what th ey may be thinking\, feeling or visualizing during their training session that could be undermining their movement toward positive change.\n Discus sion of how to phase out the training when therapeutic goals have been att ained\, and development of strategies for follow up baselines and training sessions when needed.\n ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://isnr.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/LOGO .jpg CATEGORIES:Webinars END:VEVENT BEGIN:VTIMEZONE TZID:America/New_York X-LIC-LOCATION:America/New_York BEGIN:DAYLIGHT DTSTART:20230312T030000 TZOFFSETFROM:-0500 TZOFFSETTO:-0400 TZNAME:EDT END:DAYLIGHT END:VTIMEZONE END:VCALENDAR
